Illustrative outline. Not a client report.

The goal isn’t to convince you to own.

It’s to help you decide what fits your life.

A BETTER QUESTION THAN “WHAT’S NEXT?”

What do you want
ownership to make possible?

More control comes with more responsibility. Put your goals, constraints, and willingness to lead into the same conversation.

PROFITABILITY

Know what the business needs to support.

Bring your income goals, financial obligations, and comfort with risk into focus before they become assumptions in a business plan.

FREEDOM

Define the life you want to build.

Consider your schedule, family priorities, and appetite for responsibility. Ownership should be evaluated against your life, not just a listing.

CONFIDENCE

Separate the unknowns from the next steps.

Identify what you understand, what needs preparation, and which questions belong with your lender, CPA, or attorney.

THE OWNERSHIP READINESS REPORT

Less second-guessing.
A clearer way forward.

Start with your situation, not a preset path. Your fee includes preparation review, a 60-minute Google Meet consultation, and a personalized written assessment with prioritized next steps.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

01 / YOUR PREPARATION + CONSULTATION

Room to ask the real questions.

Dr. Brad reviews your completed intake information, then meets with you for 60 minutes on Google Meet to discuss your goals, experience, constraints, and ownership questions.

02 / YOUR PERSONALIZED WRITTEN REPORT

Your situation, put into perspective.

An assessment of your ownership goals, startup-versus-acquisition fit, clinical and leadership readiness, financial considerations, and the gaps that deserve attention before you commit.

03 / YOUR PRIORITIZED NEXT STEPS

A direction you can act on.

A recommended direction, the reasons behind it, and practical preparation priorities. Your next step may be exploring ownership, preparing further, or remaining an associate. Any ongoing coaching is separately scoped and priced.

A coaching assessment based on the information you provide, not a practice valuation, transaction due diligence, financing approval, legal or tax advice, or a guarantee of business results.

INSIDE YOUR WRITTEN REPORT

More than a conversation.
A reference for your next decision.

A personalized assessment, not a generic checklist or a pass-or-fail score.

01 / GOALS & PRIORITIES

What success means to you.

Your income goals, preferred workweek, family priorities, location preferences, and reasons for considering ownership.

02 / OWNERSHIP PATH

Start, acquire, or stay.

How a startup, acquisition, or associate career fits your circumstances, including the trade-offs and questions still to resolve.

03 / CLINICAL & LEADERSHIP READINESS

Strengths to build on.

Your self-reported clinical confidence, team experience, decision-making habits, and business knowledge, with development priorities rather than a clinical competency evaluation.

04 / FINANCIAL CONSIDERATIONS

The obligations behind the goal.

A high-level discussion of income needs, existing commitments, available resources, and risk comfort, plus questions for your lender and CPA. No underwriting or financial verification is included.

05 / READINESS GAPS

What needs attention first.

The uncertainties, skill gaps, and practical constraints that could complicate ownership, with preparation actions to address them.

06 / RECOMMENDED NEXT STEPS

Your next decision, in order.

A recommended direction, prioritized actions, and professional input to seek before making larger commitments. “Not yet” and “not for me” remain valid conclusions.

A CLEAR PROCESS. A DEFINED DELIVERABLE.

Prepare. Talk.
Move forward with clarity.

Answer the questions when you book

Choose your consultation time on Calendly, then enter your intake answers on the booking form. Brief answers, estimates, “I’m not sure yet,” and “prefer to discuss on the call” are welcome. Your answers help Dr. Brad focus the conversation on your situation.

Your 60-minute Google Meet

Discuss your goals, explore your options, and clarify the questions that matter most before committing to ownership.

Your five-business-day turnaround

Your written report will be delivered within five business days after both the consultation and receipt of your completed intake information. If information arrives after the call, the turnaround starts when the completed intake is received, not on the booking or payment date.

CLIENT PREPARATION QUESTIONS

Tell me where you are.
And where you want to go.

Preview the ten intake topics here, then submit your answers in Calendly when booking your $500 report consultation. The questions appear after you select a date and time. This website section is a preparation guide, not a separate submission form.

Brief answers, approximate ranges, “not sure yet,” and “prefer to discuss on the call” are welcome. Do not include patient-identifying information, account numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or financial documents.

Your starting point and goals
  1. What is your current role, how long have you practiced, and what type of practice do you work in?
  2. Why are you considering ownership now? What would greater profitability, freedom, and confidence look like in your life?
  3. Are you leaning toward starting a practice, buying one, remaining an associate, or still deciding? What attracts or concerns you about each option?
Your experience and leadership
  1. Which areas of clinical dentistry feel strongest, and where would you want further mentoring or support before owning?
  2. What experience do you have leading a team, hiring, handling difficult conversations, or managing practice operations? Where would you need help?
Your finances and lifestyle
  1. What approximate annual personal income would your practice need to support, and what broad financial commitments should we consider? Ranges or “prefer to discuss on the call” are fine.
  2. At a high level, what savings or resources could support a transition, how comfortable are you with debt and financial uncertainty, and have you spoken with a lender? Do not provide account numbers or documents.
  3. What location, workweek, family commitments, and other lifestyle priorities are non-negotiable for you?
Your timing and biggest questions
  1. What timing are you considering, and have you identified a location or practice opportunity? What commitments, if any, have you already made?
  2. What are the three biggest questions or concerns you want this consultation and report to help you address?

YOU DON’T NEED TO HAVE IT ALL FIGURED OUT

For the decision
before the deal.

You don’t need a practice listing, a location, or a commitment to buy. You do need a willingness to look honestly at what ownership would ask of you.

“I’m an associate. Should I stay one?”

Explore whether ownership fits your goals, or whether a more intentional associate career is the better choice.

“I want to own, but am I ready?”

Identify the preparation and unanswered questions that deserve attention before you make commitments.

“Should I start a practice or buy one?”

Consider how each path relates to your priorities and constraints, without treating either as the automatic answer.

NO PREDETERMINED ANSWER

“Not yet” is useful.
So is “not for me.”

The value is a more informed decision, not a particular decision. Your next step might be to explore a startup or acquisition, address a readiness gap, or stay an associate.

If coaching is a fit, High Performance Dental offers startup, acquisition, and practice-improvement support. Any further engagement is a separate decision, with scope and fees reviewed before you begin.

A CONVERSATION WITH YOUR COACH

Dr. Brad Stutler

Dr. Brad Stutler smiling in a blue suit against a gray studio background

Dentist. Mentor. Coach.
Family first.

Start with the person.
Then consider the practice.

I’ve spent my career mentoring young dentists, both clinically and in the business of dentistry. Leadership development and helping people become their best have always been at the heart of that work.

Building and leading my own dental practice gave me firsthand experience with the decisions and responsibilities of ownership, and I retired from clinical dentistry in my early 40s. I was also honored to be featured among the Top 40 Dentists Under 40 and in “Titans of Dentistry.” I bring that experience to our conversation, not an expectation that you should follow the same path.

Outside dentistry, I coach high school basketball and travel baseball. My greatest achievement and first priority is my family: my wife, Susie, and our three children.

I see coaching as a calling and a chance to give back to a profession that has given me so much. Associate or Owner starts with what matters to you, so we can explore whether ownership belongs in your next chapter.

BEFORE YOU DECIDE

A few good
questions.

Do I need to be ready to buy or start a practice?

No. This is for the decision before the commitment. You can begin while you’re still weighing ownership against remaining an associate, without having a practice or location selected.

What does the $500 fee include?

Review of your completed intake information, a 60-minute Google Meet consultation with Dr. Brad Stutler, and a personalized written Ownership Readiness Report with a recommended direction and prioritized next steps. It is a one-time fee, not enrollment in an ongoing coaching program or an additional follow-up consultation.

When will I receive my report?

Within five business days after your consultation and receipt of your completed intake information, whichever happens later. The turnaround does not begin when you book or pay. Providing your intake information before the call helps keep the process moving.

Do I have to continue into coaching?

No. The report is a standalone service. High Performance Dental also offers coaching, but purchasing the report does not commit you to a further engagement.

Will this tell me whether a specific practice is a good buy?

No. The focus is your readiness and direction, not valuation or due diligence on a specific practice. Legal, tax, accounting, and lending questions belong with your independently engaged professional team. Operational acquisition support can be discussed separately.

Where do I submit my intake answers?

On the Calendly booking form, after you select a date and time for your paid report consultation. You can preview the ten intake topics here first: your goals, experience, ownership options, financial considerations, lifestyle priorities, timing, and biggest questions. Brief answers, approximate ranges, “not sure yet,” and “prefer to discuss on the call” are welcome. Do not submit patient-identifying information or sensitive financial account details.

How do I book my report consultation?

Select “Book your $500 report” to open the Ownership Readiness Report booking page in Calendly. Choose a time, review the appointment and payment details, and complete the booking there. Opening the link alone does not create an appointment or charge you. Review the cancellation and refund policy before confirming.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Cancel before your consultation begins for a full $500 refund. Rescheduling is free; please give at least 24 hours’ notice when possible. Once your consultation begins, the fee is nonrefundable, subject to the service-completion, delivery, and legal-rights exceptions in our full cancellation and refund policy. Request refunds at hello@hpdentalcoaching.com.

Ownership Readiness Report

What your payment covers

The $500 Ownership Readiness Report includes a review of your completed intake information, a 60-minute consultation with Dr. Brad Stutler, and a personalized written report. There is no obligation to purchase additional coaching.

Your report will be delivered by email within five business days after both your consultation has taken place and your completed intake information has been received, whichever occurs later. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays.

Cancellations and refunds before your consultation

You may cancel for a full refund of the $500 payment at any time before your consultation begins. We ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible so the appointment can be offered to another dentist.

Intake review performed before your consultation does not reduce your eligibility for this full refund. There is no separate cancellation or refund-processing fee charged by High Performance Dental.

Rescheduling and missed appointments

You may reschedule without an additional charge. Please use the rescheduling link in your booking confirmation and provide at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.

If you need to cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or miss your appointment, please contact us. We will offer one courtesy rebooking, subject to availability. If you prefer not to rebook and your consultation has not begun, you may request a full refund.

Repeated late cancellations or missed appointments may result in the engagement being canceled rather than rescheduled. If the consultation has not begun, we will refund your payment in full.

Once your consultation begins

Once your consultation begins, the $500 fee is nonrefundable, except as described below or where a refund is required by applicable law. At that point, delivery of your personalized service is underway.

Choosing not to pursue ownership or additional coaching does not qualify for a refund after your consultation begins. The service provides personalized education and guidance; it does not guarantee financing, a practice purchase, profitability, or any particular business outcome.

If we cancel or cannot complete your service

If High Performance Dental cancels your consultation before it begins, you may choose a new appointment or a full refund.

If we are unable to complete your consultation or deliver your written report, we will offer a full refund. If we cannot meet the five-business-day report deadline after receiving your completed intake information and conducting your consultation, you may accept a revised delivery date or request a full refund. Any revised delivery date must be agreed to by you.

An incomplete intake pauses the start of the report-delivery period. We will tell you what information is still needed; reasonable estimates, “not sure yet,” and “prefer to discuss” responses are acceptable where indicated in the intake form.

How to request a refund

Email hello@hpdentalcoaching.com with your name, booking email address, and appointment date. Please do not include payment-card details or other sensitive financial information.

For refunds due under this policy, we will initiate the refund to your original payment method within five business days of receiving your request and identifying the payment. The time it takes to appear in your account depends on your payment provider.

Canceling the appointment and receiving the refund are separate steps. Please email us when requesting a refund so we can ensure it is processed.

Complimentary Coaching Fit Call

The 30-minute Coaching Fit Call is complimentary, with no cancellation or no-show fee. Please cancel or reschedule using your confirmation email and give at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible.

If you miss your call, contact hello@hpdentalcoaching.com to arrange another time. Rebooking is subject to availability.

Questions and legal rights

For questions or unusual circumstances, contact hello@hpdentalcoaching.com. We aim to handle requests fairly and respectfully, and this policy does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.
